DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS
Bernadett Modrián-Horváth is a senior lecturer at the Department of German Language and Literature at the University of Szeged. She completed her PhD studies at the Doctoral School of Linguistics, Eötvös Loránd University. She defended her thesis Topik und Thema: Untersuchungen zur Informationsstruktur in deutschen und ungarischen Erzähl- und Berichtstexten in 2014. Her main research interests are in the field of German-Hungarian contrastive linguistics (word order, voice, information structure), which she investigates mainly within the framework of usage-based construction grammar. Between 2019 and 2021, she was co-coordinator of the construction of the Dulko corpus (Deutsch-ungarisches Lernerkorpus) in the project DeutUng: Deutsch-ungarischer Sprachvergleich: korpustechnologisch, funktional-semantisch und sprachdidaktisch.
