DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN LINGUISTICS
Zsuzsanna Gécseg is an Associate Professor at the Department of French Studies of the University of Szeged. She obtained her PhD degree in 2004 (Syntax and semantics of determiners of argumental NPs in French, supervisor: Prof. Giampaolo Salvi) and habilitated in 2013. Her main research fields are the information structure of the Hungarian and the French sentence, with a special focus on the relationship between the syntactic position and the discourse role of the constituents. She has published several papers on this topic in English, French and Hungarian journals.
